Greater self-compassion can improve our well-being in the workplace and in our relationships, and can help to prevent burnout. This session reviews science and research on the importance of self-compassion, and shares practices and techniques to strengthen our ability to be compassionate to ourselves. What you will learn: – The popular myths and scientific truths of having compassion for oneself – Myriad techniques for creating more self-compassion in one’s daily life – Multiple mindfulness-based practices including: increasing self-kindness, expressing self-appreciation, and offering self-forgiveness
