This one hour workshop will provide teams with a framework for creating an accessibility plan that meets the requirements of the Accessible BC Act legislation. Accessibility and Inclusion Matter Consulting is a small BC business, directed by Melissa Lyon, who is a person with a disability. Melissa has extensive experience with both public and private sector organizations, offering training sessions related to disability awareness, accessibility, and inclusive leadership. She has taught non-credit courses at VIU and Capilano University and has created online, self-paced courses using Articulate Rise. Her lived experience as a person with a disability provides a unique perspective on inclusive leadership and practice. Melissa also leads organizations in creating accessibility plans and in creating resources to increase accessibility within an organization. She can tailor training to suit your needs.
